Today, we are so happy to spotlight an amazing AVID educator, Laurine Goldberg—affectionately known to those around her as Dakota—as she embarks on her final year before retirement from Santa Fe Public Schools in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
With tenure that includes roles as an AVID Elective teacher, District Director, Western Division consultant, and Staff Developer, she has tirelessly waved the AVID flag in every school, classroom, and district she has touched.
What sets Dakota apart is her unwavering commitment to putting students first. She supports them with strategies, resources, and the confidence to realize their full potential.
Not only is she a guiding light for students, but she also brings her wealth of experience and dedication to her peers, enriching and elevating their professional practice. She has played a pivotal role in shaping countless educators’ journeys.
